  • Good place to go it you want to go out and have small children that wants to play around. Good place to go for beer and chocolate tasting. There is a wide variety of food. And an excellent coffee and ice cream place. You can also experience live glass blowing that really blows your mind. This place really offers a lot on one place and there are also biking trails.
  • A scenic route and pleasant drive from Cape Town and travelling time of +-1 hour plus.I was disappointed that there was no visible information counter.I had to inquire from the various restaurants etc.and even in terms of the Spice Route passport. The pizzeria area was fully booked out and we were not able to order pizzas.Chocolate tasting was pleasant and the staff friendly .The menus were not as extensive as i had hoped .The views from the restaurants were breath taking .The food we ordered was passable.
  • Great beer and food. Atmosphere and staff add to the experience. A well worth visit for both locals and tourists.
  • Enjoyed our day out with a lot of different options of restaurants and things to do. Gin tasting was disappointing don’t wast time and money on that. Chocolate tasting was of course great. Had great pizza, and a warm fire on a cold day. Although a lot of cars and people it never felt crowded or busy.
  • This was a great day out, started by CBC for a beer tasting and tour, then for a delicious pizza and great views... Then onto the wine tasting by the fireplace and ended it off with De Villiers chocolate tasting. Wow, what a day! Thanks Spice route, I will be back to try more.
