Fairview Wine and Cheese, Suider Paarl

4.4
A spacious farm and estate, Fairview Wine and Cheese has been hailed for its winemaking and cheese production. On a trip to the estate, you can sample six different wines and pair them with a variety of the farm's exquisite cheeses, made from cow's milk and goat's milk. In addition to touring the farm and wine cellars, you'll also meet the resident goats, who can often be found climbing the spiral tower. • Great experience today. Took a family group from USA of 15. Kids loved the goats, and the adults were really hosted and entertained by Lynn. They loved her wonderful sense of humour and presentation of wines. Wonderful to have someone who is so interactive. I am a tour guide and love Fairview, it's great diversity of wines and friendly staff.
  • A party of six friends spent a truly enjoyable evening at the Moroccan dinner. Good food as well as the wines (and generously shared), but sadly, we arrived at the venue having to find our way to the restaurant along an unlit pathway. It was a repeat when leaving. Much to our surprise,we noticed that the whole length of the walkway actually had lights, but not switched on. Would it not be advisable to have put some temporary lighting along the path if there was an electrical problem?
  • The best wine tasting experience. Service is excellent. Great wines. The Deli is good to stock up on cheeses
  • Things to do under a R100 for 2 people. Cheese and wine tasting at R40 per person. Absolutely loved it
  • Fairview offers wine and cheese tasting. For large groups it is better to book in advance. The garden is beautiful and well maintained. After the tasting good food can be enjoyed at The Goatshed for a good price. Large selection of items are available on the menu. The goats and the tower are also an attraction.
