  • We were really looking forward to our visit to the market. I found it to be terribly overpriced. The breakfast took forever to be made and the toast served without butter. The coffee stall serves fant...  more »

  • Fantastic little market packed with home made goodies and great food. We found some stunning hand made glassware for our kitchen and had the most amazing wood fired oven baked pizza! P.S Check out the glassware! Beautiful stuff!
  • Nice an small with lots of interesting items to buy from the stalls. However the variety also includes the normal african art and artifacts that you can buy from any other market. You will have to try some of the food items from the different stores, the craft beers and the gin cocktails. There is quite a variety to choose from. Then there is still the fresh baked breads and preserves. Apart from the limited amount of seating space where you can sit and eat, this is definately one market that you must visit when in Stellenbosch.
  • A great market to take visiting friends and family. They have a wide variety of delicious foods and drinks, every stall being unique and special. They have great fudge and biltong stalls, and the few clothing and accessory stalls have high quality goods that will attract anyone's interested.
  • Stellenbosch has a lot of markets selling food, drink, clothing and entertainment. This one does all that but the food and entertainment you would find better quality and price at Root 44 but they definitely have the best collection of local artists showcasing their work. Come here for the artists and not the food.
  • Lovely artisanal market with plenty of delicious food but the other stalls selling jewellery and clothes etc. Are quite pricey. Still a lovely thing to do on a Saturday
