Annandale is the oldest farm in the Helderberg Valley, and proudly upholds a long tradition of wine-making. The cellar built before the 1700s can still be found on the estate as well as the manor house. For a long period in the early 20th century it had 50 000 vines and part of the land became a haven for abandoned horses and a riding school. It was only in 1996 that owner Hempies du Toit once again transformed it back to a wine farm.To visit Annandale Wine Estate on your holiday in Stellenbosch, and find out what else Stellenbosch has to offer, use our Stellenbosch.

Good wine tasting experience and lovely setting next to the stream
Superb red wines that have been aged well - available for remarkably good prices considering the farm's location. You won't find these in the stores. An old school tasting room that oozez authenticity - complete with swaths of cobwebs from the years gone by. The tasting hostess provides a very comfortable and atmosphere and is well-informed on a lot there is to know about the farm and its history.
Meet a legend in South African rugby (you never know he might be in his wine shop). A variety of experiences that are very traditional as well as very good wine to taste and to buy.
Unmatched quality of wine. A beautiful knowledge of the culture of wine and and a personal experience given to each tasting that is done by Pierre! Cannot reccomend them enough!
Amazing family picnic place!!!
