  • We had reserved a table by Germany out. Susanne has received very friendly to us and escorted us to our place. She has extensively explained the menu to us and recommended us the appropriate wines. We felt very well right off the bat and were looking forward to our meal. We were excited, it doesn't get any better. The staff was very friendly and attentive. A memorable evening in this great atmosphere and we will come back. Touch 1+++

  • Incredible. We had the three course set menu and were absolutely delighted. The service is attentive and thoughtful. The food is exceptional, beautifully presented and delicious. Lots of interesting flavours so even though the dishes might look rather plain on the menu, they are certainly not when they reach you at the table. There are many little treats hidden throughout the set menu, as well, which this photo does not do justice to! I recommend this restaurant highly.
  • Bloody marvelous! Probably the best meal we have had on any continent. Every part of the meal, and also the in-between-foods, where outstanding. Don't be put off by the prosaic format if the printed menu - it does nothing to alert you to terrific meal.
  • Dirt road to reach the Estate, but worth while
  • The wine tasting and food at Springfontein Barn is really a treat. The grapes are organically grown (no pesticides are used on the grapes or artificial fertilizer are used on the farm)Tariro really know how to make the most delicious Red wine (my winter favorite) and Rose (my summer favorite) and then there's the food that is paired with the wine. It's a taste bud overload. The fact that it's only about 5km outside of Stanford village is a bonus, a short stretch of dirt road and you are at the farm.
  • Fantastic culinary experience.
