  • We spent a few wonderful days as a family in the cottages at Phillipskop. The accommodation was very comfortable and spacious, with beautiful views and a lovely sunny deck. We went as an extended family and fitted 16 people (6 kids in that) in two neighbouring cottages and it worked beautifully. Wonderful hikes, cosy fires, beautiful streams, stunning stars and freedom for the kids to explore made it a very memorable time together.
  • Spent the weekend in Oxalis. Spacious, clean and awesome views with the bird song the only sound. Great views with quiet tranquility. It was winter, so the fireplace got a workout and it was great. Close to Stanford for a bite to eat, and used the braai area as we watched the stars with no light pollution. The Milky Way in all its splendor. Great weekend away.
  • Fantastic weekend spot. Well furnished chalets for the whole family and a few more. Great hiking trails with beautiful views.
  • Lovely, light-filled spacious and comfortable cottage. Stunning mountainside setting with big window views. Enjoyed the long hike up the mountain behind (and Phillipskop itself), with panoramic views all around. A fabulous hiking weekend catching up with longtime friends! Would come again!
  • Thanks to the land owner for making this natural mountain area accessible to the public. A great use of the land!
