Providing a safe haven for endangered animals, Panthera Africa - Big Cat Sanctuary offers guided walks designed to provide insight into the world of white and brown lions, caracals, tigers, and black leopards. • Inspiring to see how this sanctuary is nursing badly treated Big African Cats and spreads awareness of all the fowl business that’s going on in South Africa. This sanctuary is ten times better than a zoo, the animals are in an exquisite health and shine like they supposed to. They let visitors in to get some money to support the project, but money does not lead their love to support these cats. Special shout out to Sydney as she is a very good storyteller and lets her passion run wild through all her stories about the cats. 5/5
  • Wow! What an experience! I was lucky to score a walk in admission as most tours require pre booking. I was greeted by friendly Sydney who had a smile on the whole time and was also my tour guide. Seeing how she was able to talk to animals and call some of them over put a big smile on my face. It was also sad to hear some of the animals’ stories but in the end they found a happy home. Everyone here works around the clock to give these animals a better home. I feel much more educated about the animal cruelty that goes on. Please visit this and learn before visiting another petting zoo ever again!
  • Amazing project and one of the true seven sanctuaries in South Africa. Thanks a lot to Marten for the splendid (educational) tour, would certainly do again when being around. Actually, would love to do it again just right the next day, it was that good!
  • Martin was a great guide explained very well. very interesting highly recommend it.
  • It was a nice experience to share in family. It's our first time to see in real the big cat.
