We are both experienced riders and were lucky enough to be alone with our nice guide. Our horses Archi and Morone were very good and trained at top. The equipment is also in very good condition (Western). We have seen close so many animals to some meters including zebras, giraffes, rhinos, hippos and many, many more. We are more than thrilled to both and can recommend it everyone! It was just great!

Our stay at Botlierskop was one of the most remarkable experiences we’ve ever had! Total and complete luxury coupled with a beautiful game reserve and amazing animals. We stayed two nights in the luxury tents with the all-inclusive package - worth every penny. The game drives were so much fun - we loved seeing the gorgeous property just as much as all the animals. The restaurant was delicious (you must try the Springbok carpaccio!) and the spa treatments were fantastic. We wish we could have stayed forever!!
Really not sure how anyone could rate this place anything but 5 STARS. The reserve is top notch, the accommodations comfortable and beautiful, and the staff superb. True stewards of the land, it is clear that Botlierskop loves their animals, country and guests that come to see it. We can only hope to return again in the future. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for an amazing, incredible experience.
It was amazing! Everything was great! Lovely villa in the middle of the bush right next to some of the animals. We’ve created so many good memories that we will cherish forever as a family. Definitely coming back 😊
Great calm and relaxing reserve. The staff is great and friendly. The reserve is well managed and the Animals are in great shape and well feed. The restaurant is well managed neat and tidy. The views are beautiful and the game drives are well organised. The drivers are well trained. The vehicles are well maintained. It was nice to see the Rhinos so close to the restaurant.
My daughter and I had the most amazing few days at Botlierskop. We had a luxury tent and ours was so special as rhinos, wildebeest and horses often passed by our deck. The horse safari was incredible, felt so connected with the serenity of the place and came up so close to some wildlife; Joleen was very re-assuring as I was a little older and a little 'nervous' compared to the rest of the group. The game drive was fantastic and our ranger Jade went out of his way for us; we were lucky to see most of the animals and they all look very healthy. All the staff working at this establishment were friendly and warm; we both left there feeling so relaxed .. this piece of heaven was calming and so peaceful. I can't wait to return some time soon again. Thank You to all. Best wishes and Regards, Sandy and Amy Hitchins.
