  • We went here as part of another tour but it is really worth seeing! You take about a 2 hour ride on a boat through the St. Lucia wetland. The boat stops many times to point out hippos, birds, and...  more »

  • It is still beautiful, just a pity there is so much politics involved. It is a shame and embarrassment that this world heritage site is not getting the attention it needs, come on KZN wildlife....come on government, let's get the accommodation side sorted so that people can enjoy this amazing spot right on our doorstep.
  • This place has so much potential. It's a shame it's better taken care of my government. Still well worth a visit
  • Absolutely incredible. Accommodation is brilliant and very very affordable. The scenery is unrivalled. We saw whales, Dolphins, Kites (big bird) Rhino, Buffalo, Hyena and the list goes on. You must bring supplies there isn’t much there but that’s to be expected. There is cellphone reception albeit minimal. Incredible place. Hope to be back soon.
  • It is a very beautiful lake, we went into the park on the west side and it cost roughly R200 for 2 adults, map cost another R10. We followed the map and went all around the west side of the lake, as the photo shows, we did not see much of the game, we were told if we leave the gate and entered the east side, it another R200, not very convenient and pleasant. We took roughly 2 hours to complete the whole west side area without and luck seeing any of the big fives (we were told by the gatekeeper that they have everything except lions from the big five).
  • The most beautiful wetlands ever. Peace and serenity only. You will fall in love with the place.
