Dear Umgeni Steam team We undertook the train ride on the 27th October from Kloof to Inchanga and return. It was a well organized event with all the staff being welcoming and we as a family had such a great time. A big thank you to all the staff from Umgeni Steam.

A great experience! Something unique and fun to do in Durban. Make sure to take a light jacket as the train can get a bit breezy with everyone’s windows open.

Fun family ride for 1 hrs up 1 hr down,1 hr shopping at inchanga .Chinese,Indian,afrikaans and English food is available to buy and eat.A nice coffee shop and a lot of craft shops.Just watch out for very basic and fairly ok sort of toilets at inchanga. Children can take photos on the steam engine during the break
