  • Really nice indeed. Any type of food you may want, plus quality artwork. Artisanal beer and organic wine, chill out music. Clearly a symbol of gentrificarion, but also one of the rare place where...  more »
  • I never get bored going to that market. Varieties of food available. Food from different cultures. Parking available on the side of the roads. Give the car guard some tips (R10 to 20) to watch your...  more »
  • The inside is much better than the outside which looks and feels a tad grey. Once inside head for the many places to eat and drink. I had a coconut with vodka Zar 65 which was different and delishh...  more »
  • Very hip place with a good vibe. Always busy. Lotsa food from various cultures to choose from. Parking was a problem. Love this place - wish they’d move to a safer area and where there is ample parking.
  • This is an Awesome place to chill with friends, partner or colleagues. They sell very nice and tasty foods with variety of drinks like wine, cocktails etc. with great music. Lovely view of Johannesburg from the upper level. Whenever you feel bored or want to experience something new on a Saturday then Neighborhood Market is the place to be.
  • Great Saturday outing, I can really recommend this one! Massive variety of food, from every reach of life. I would personally recommend the paella, you can't miss it! Also, find the guys with the hot sauces, they're great! Great vibe, the surrounding area is also starting to become less dodgy. Parking can be an issue, expect to pay R20, and unfortunately the area is a little downtrodden (it's getting better). Would go again!
  • Good vibe, good variety of food. Great that something like this exist in central which needs a massive revival. Overall, this was a good experience. Car guards however need controlling as they demand parking fees from you. Parking needs to be sorted out. It's the only bugbear of this experience. This would of otherwise been a 4 star rating.
  • Very pricey but what do you expect with tourists around. Love the atmosphere, great food and drinks! A must when in Joburg just for the experience. Live band is my favourite!
