Interact with majestic African animals and experience their intelligent, gentle nature at Elephant Whispers. Located on the banks of the Sabie River, the wildlife reserve sits surrounded by a picturesque bush landscape, suitable for taming, breeding, and training rescued tusked mammals. Once you reach the compound, you can enjoy many activities, such as going on an elephant ride through the savanna, as well as brushing, playing, swimming, and taking photos with the gentle giants. Make sure to visit in a smaller tour group so that everyone can have the opportunity to feed and stroke the elephants. Absolutely amazing experience. Originally booked this thinking it was just a ride on the elephants and then lunch, but it was so much more. Got to learn so much about these beautiful animals and the opportunity to see them up close and personal is something we will never forget. Thank you Elephant Whispers!
Absolutely fantastic! Great close-up experience with these amazing animals. The staff were great and the chance to truly engage these elephants in a humane way is truly appreciated.
An absolute must. Definitely worth the money (even if it cost more). Experience of a life time. Every living person will be touched by this experience of a lifetime. Wonderful friendly staff.
A most amazing journey through the lives of these great creatures, it is saddening to see how we as humans are destroying their habitat. Thank you Elephant Whispers for your dedicated work.
Even though, due to the weather, they only did the the "meet and greet" program, it was very exciting to walk up to a 6 ton elephant and touch it. The explanations of the guards were very interesting.
