  • We did not eat at the restaurant but the rest was just not our kind of thing, the museum and bookshop plus outdoor area were more than a little flat for us.  more »
  • Absolutely loved the place. The food was great, service is a little slow but goes with the vibe. The show was awesome, definitely the best part was seeing Tannie Evita. It's a very intimate venue. A must see
  • Nice pleasant environment with lots of nostalgia of the past. Nice simple food but service could be a little better/faster. Was fortunate to see a show as well.
  • What a quirky, fun place. A collection of old South Africa memorabilia which will make u smile and thank God it's in the past! Lovely little restaurant with seating under the trees.
  • What a truly South African experience! Superb shows, relevant commentary on our history and our future as a nation in the library and outdoor exhibition... Great local home cooked style food and friendly service. Plus Darling is a gem of a town - try the wine estates (esp with the chocolate pairing, the beer tasting & the world's best cheese omelette at the Marmelade Cat). Worth more than a day trip
  • Really enjoyed it. Evita Bezuidenhout is a South African icon. This place gives one a fascinating, amusing and startling glimpse into South African history and culture. Definitely worth a visit
