  • We have been to 6 wine locations Constanta and Franschhoek in 7 days, I would say this is lowest on the list, you walk in and they immediately charge you without knowing what you will get.  more »
  • We drive by this small winery based on a recommendation and enjoyed a very nice and competent tasting of their wines. Especially the reds were excellent and we bought a bottle for the following...  more »
  • I stumbled upon this little wine tasting farm as I was walking through Constantia and I am so pleased I did! The staff member that assisted me was such a great host, he is extremely knowledgeable...  more »
  • My experience didn't entail purchasing wine per se, but more of a personal matter. None the less, on meeting the owner Dave we were treated to an impromptu tour. Wow.. Simply amazing wine farm, from the history of French oak barrels and how they tie up with different grapes, to his bottling process, where recycling is of high importance. We were taken through the plant where his wine is matured, and given a highly informative description of the process from grape to wine. We were taken through his magical vineyards where we even had an opportunity to pick strawberries. My better half was in heaven. The venue is available for weddings, private functions and do not forget the main purpose, tours and tastings. Hard to believe that living literally 200 metres from him this was my first visit. A man of the soil, Dave, has a high zest for life and is master winemaker. Highly recommended for anyone.
  • Great winery. Beautiful country! Lovely winemaker and his wife!
  • Very good.....
  • If you ever travel to Capetown, besides other exciting excursions to table mountains, cable cars, Cape of Good hope, there is this winery or Vinery “Vin de Constance” which I learnt has very strong historical values. We were there yesterday. The Constantia valley is the oldest vineyard region in the Cape with vines first planted as far back as 1685. Napoleon is said to have drunk a bottle of Vin de Constance a day while in exile on the Island of St Helena and every day in the week leading up to his death. “Vin de Constance has been a favourite wine of Emperors, Kings and authors for centuries. The place is blessed with stunning scenery and beauty. Well impressed. Allan good tour guide.
  • High Constantia is well worth a visit. The highlights are the quaint cellar, the Cabernet Franc and Clos Andre!!
