  • Highly recommended! We booked a guided full-day tour online from 08:30-18:30. The guide Wanele picked us up at the hotel. He was very nice and motivated. A guided tour is definitely recommended in addition to the self-drive. This gives you a lot of information about plants, animals about the history/construction of the park. First we even saw two lions that we would never have seen otherwise. Snacks, beer and drinks were plentiful. At vantage points we were able to represent our legs. At lunchtime we drove to a picnic place, where the guide provided us with salad, barbecues, cakes and drinks. He could also tell us a lot about the country and the people. We have more or less driven the whole park from south to north to the Main Camp/Museum and back.
