  • Shocking treatment of animals. NO ONE should support this place. The animals are kept in terrible conditions.  more »
  • Attending zoos should not even be a thing, nevermind when theyre in such horrible conditions. Shut this place down!  more »
  • The animals in this place deserve so much more than a lack of space and overall bad conditions. It’s sad enough that they are in captivity. WHY are the conditions so poor? Shocking to say the...  more »

  • Lots of room for the children to run and play without annoying anyone. Nice shady spots to picnic. Could be a supply water at a drinking fountain but we didn't find one. Ample free parking with security guards in attendance, and free entry to the gardens. Delightful orchid house with water falls and fish. Well wirth the visit. We also saw people walking their dogs so must also be allowed.
  • Very overgrown walkways. Some of the animals could definitely be in bigger cages. Undernourished animals. No more rhino, was poached a year ago. Lion park is separate from the zoo. R200 for a car. All in all a nice outing for the family.
  • Truly disappointed in what was once a decent zoo now, absolutely appalling...worst wildlife experience ever...Waste of time and money. Apart from the few seriously undernourished lion, tiger and leopard, stored in cages my two year old would be too confined in, there is nothing else to see. The sad, depressed looks on the faces of the orangutan and apes summed up the few minutes we spent there. Two buffalo, no giraffes, no elephant, no hippo, not even a buck or zebra in sight. I'm surprised this place is still open and has the audacity to call itself a zoo.
  • Nice Zoo. You will find many animals there like birds, lions, white lions, Tigers . And lots of foreign animals
  • Nice place too many tigers, not enough big enclosures
