  • I'm sure it was the cooler weather that made the V&A look a little sad and lonely, or maybe the economy isn't what it used to be, none the less, the V&A has many attractions, and is a great spot to sh...  more »
  • We were in Cape Town this year and we loved the V&A waterfront area, it was very safe and had lots of wonderful shops and places to eat. It reminded us of Sydney's Darling Harbour. Well worth a visit.  more »
  • This is a very touristy area but with that being said it is a must see while in Cape Town. Great for outdoors dinning, people watching shopping. Tours of the water areas start from here. We went to th...  more »

  • A perfect blend of expensive and fancy brands eg MK, Gucci, LV and some local south African brands eg Woolworths. Has a huge PnP, plenty of paid parking, a waterfront area where you can sit and enjoy watching the boats enter and leaving. Huge selection of places to eat from fast food to fine dining restaurants. Cape wheel is situated here. And there is an open sqaure closeby dedicated to the novel peace prize winners of SA. This is also one of the main stops for the hop on and hop off buses.
  • Undoubtedly my favourite destination in Cape Town. Love the vibe and everything on offer. It has it all from wonderful restaurants, boat cruises, shopping, entertainment and history. An extremely popular attraction and is busy and crowded at most times. Parking could be a challenge. Great variety of stores and an ideal place to take in some down time whilst admiring the harbour and the views of the mountains. 5 stars for me any day of the week.
  • If you get past the fact that this is primarily a tourist destination, it really is a lovely place to take a stroll by the water.
  • Good vibes all day long from this place
