  • Don't think if this as just a shopping centre or eating destination. What is now the most popular tourist destination in Africa (apparently) is a great example of how a district can add to a city. His...  more »
  • If we are in Cape Town, we also drive on the waterfront. In the shopping mall we know already the shops, which for us interesting (old khaki, Trade Union market) are. Short walk to the harbour basin, here and there a stop - cappuccino and live music. Despite an intense tourist activity again and again. We have seen also the difference between weekend and weekday – how pleasant if slightly less below the week is going on.

  • I have always enjoyed to be at the V&A Waterfront in the evenings. You get to see beautiful view of the harbour, big shopping malls, and lots of eateries. You will always find some local youth display...  more »

  • A perfect blend of expensive and fancy brands eg MK, Gucci, LV and some local south African brands eg Woolworths. Has a huge PnP, plenty of paid parking, a waterfront area where you can sit and enjoy watching the boats enter and leaving. Huge selection of places to eat from fast food to fine dining restaurants. Cape wheel is situated here. And there is an open sqaure closeby dedicated to the novel peace prize winners of SA. This is also one of the main stops for the hop on and hop off buses.
  • Undoubtedly my favourite destination in Cape Town. Love the vibe and everything on offer. It has it all from wonderful restaurants, boat cruises, shopping, entertainment and history. An extremely popular attraction and is busy and crowded at most times. Parking could be a challenge. Great variety of stores and an ideal place to take in some down time whilst admiring the harbour and the views of the mountains. 5 stars for me any day of the week.
  • If you get past the fact that this is primarily a tourist destination, it really is a lovely place to take a stroll by the water.
  • Good vibes all day long from this place
