  • Parking is very expensive-€ 12.0 for a day! For parking on a rubble area without facilities. In addition, you still 3.0 €-per person "entrance fee" to pay for viewing the waterfall! Never before experienced in Slovenia! Tourist trap, there is much more to see in the vicinity where you don't have to pay. For example the Soca trail.

  • My review is mainly for the value of the waterfall not how good/bad the waterfall is. If I would've done even a little bit of homework of this place, I wouldn't be writing this review as I would have ...  more »
  • Waterfall Savica was for me a little surprise. In the fast zmienialismy plans of Vogel's, because I was not be weather for a walk to the waterfall. And I do not regret! Commuting to the coach makes a bit of the chills, the way narrow, in order to have passed two coaches need a lot of agility and combinations (coach with Japanese tourists filmed videos and dluigo bil Bravo, really). By car the problem so we are not affected. Before leaving the parking lot where the trail is freely stanelismy. The entrance to the Park is theoretically payable, but as we were in the morning no one was in the booth. On the outskirts of the partly stone stairs, partly path among the forest. Along the way, little views, more heard than seen. View only reveals at the entrance to the observation platform at the waterfall. Is my husband! Even I managed to find on tecze Woda:)

  • Absolutely stunning! The most beautiful waterfall we saw so far! Paid entrance (€3 adult). About 25 min. hike (medium difficult trail). Hint: parking is paid in the area and parking inspectors quick and efficient!
  • Uphill hike, but the view of the waterfall is amazing, and you also have a great view down onto Lake Bohinj. The path is mostly uphilll and can be a bit uneven / steep (as expected from a trail) so it would help to be reasonably fit (not that I was, and I was fine). Definitely worth a visit.
  • Hike up from the lake is the highlight, waterfall is nice if not spectacular. There is 3 euro entrance fee to waterfall, worth going early to avoid crowds as can get very busy
  • nice ncie and again nice!
  • I have been there few years ago and I was satisfied. But now - I really don't want to pay 3 € per person for an entrance to a nature. It should be paid from tourist taxes e.g. in campsites.
