  • This is a nice and attractive church in the centre of town. It is not large or very ornate and is fairly plain but has nice subdued gothic ceiling, is well maintained, quiet and worth a visit.

  • A nice old church in Radovljica, with frescoes at the ceiling, you can see old pews and the Chapel of St. Mary on the right side. Worth visiting.
  • Lovely church
  • The church, which stands on the site where a chapel once stood around the tenth century, dates back to the thirteenth century but it was around 1495 that the three-nave Romanesque basilica was transformed into a Gothic church. The external appearance of the building, which dates back to the late nineteenth century when the church was restored again in the Gothic style, is sober. Inside you will notice the central nave which is decorated with an angelic star, the high altar of St. Peter, originally Gothic, was replaced in the eighteenth century by the black marble altar. Interesting are the statues of San Leopoldo and San Nicola which are the work of Angelo Pozzo, while at the end of the southern nave, there is the chapel of Mary with the white altar dedicated to Santa Maria, the work of young Janez Vurnik and, finally, on the side altars of San Rocco, San Sebastiano and Santa Caterina some 17th century paintings have been preserved. In front of the church is the beautiful square that houses the exhibition on the development of the city of Radovljica and where there are historic city buildings, such as The Chaplaincy Tower and the Taverna, both of the fifteenth century.
  • Nicely renovated church near the main square of the village/town. Very neat and clean.
  • Beautiful church, simple, recently restored. It is located at the end of the town's colorful main square.
