  • You can easily miss a small hill Kostanjevica near the center of Nova Gorica. Caste hill in Italian Gorica / Gorizia is far more attractive. You can drive nearly to the entrance of the old monastery. ...  more »
  • Nice walk even from the town center, but also accessible by car. It is special feeling that French royals are buried here. There are also nice view to both Gorica towns, Italian and Slovene.  more »

  • The Kostanjevica church has a few interesting things you can see and do...there's a rose garden unlike any other, a tomb of a French family, a big library of old books etc. The view of the city from Kostanjevica is also really great.
  • Beautiful views of the Nova Gorica, scented roses burbonke, guidance and interpretation in the rozariju next to the monastery.

  • Beautiful views of Gorizia and Nova Gorica. The monastery of Konstanjevica (Castagnevizza) houses the grave where the dead King Charles X of France. You can view the Borgo Castello (Gorizia medieval) and Stazione Transalpina, whose square is divided between Italy and Slovenia.
