  • We walked to old vine house early in the morning and this sight was mesmerising. Looking at the oldest grapevine in the world was surely a spectre to remember. Sipping hot coffee by the lake, on...

  • We visited spontaniously this place in Maribor on our way bay home to Hungary. It is amazing to know that the world’s oldest living vine is about 400 years old and it is in Slovenia very close to the Hungarian border. We took part in a small wine-tasting session, too. It was an excellent program. I advise you to discover the old town of Maribor. It is super cozy and cute to take a walk there. And the Old Vine House is also very close to the city centre.
  • Extremely rude staff who should learn how to behave and interact with human beings. For shame...
  • Wines quite okay. Some good some bad. But it's more like a shop than winery house. Very little description of the wine, we could read those Information form the battles. It would be nice to hear more about this place and wine from this Country.
  • Excellent local wine with a wide variety of choices and a knowledgeable, friendly staff. I highly recommend! While you can’t drink wine made directly from the world’s oldest grapevine, you can drink and buy wine from the descendant vines.
  • Must see if you travel in Maribor. Oldest vineyard tree in the world. Wine is excellent and prices are not very high. A bottle of excellent wine from Slovenia is a great souvenir to take home. There is also a nice view on the river outside the House. I reccomend it to take time there and enjoy a glass of excellent wine outside. Personal is very friendly and they will advise you about the wine. You can also try all wines before you buy.
