Enjoy some outdoor recreation among the bucolic lawns, pastures, rose gardens, and wooded areas of Tivoli Park. Nestled among rolling hills, the largest park in the city was laid out in 1813 and is also home to a number of cultural sites, such as a 17th-century mansion and a neoclassical castle with the fountain guarded by four cast-iron dogs. At the park's entrance, notice the monument dedicated to the founder of the Slovene national identity, Primoz Trubar. Kids can enjoy adventure playgrounds with mini-golf areas and a zoo. The lawn beside a shallow rectangular pond features an open-air library, which moves into the nearby greenhouse during winter. • This is a very nice park which is well kept and not too busy. It's a really nice place to just sit or walk.

  • Located almost in Ljubljana centre (five minutes walk). Beautiful green oasis, with lot of options for walking and running. Every morning I was there enjoying peaceful time. Must to see.

  • Walked 13 Kilometers in 5 hours while visiting the capital of Slovenia. This park didn’t disappoint with plenty of shade and well groomed walking paths. We walked through the park to visit the Museum of Contemporary History. The park has plenty of seating and is a great place to people watch. We enjoyed watching the people at the skateboard park. Families were making use of the day to relax and interact with one another. Thanks Slovenia for a clean park!
  • Beautiful park, enough shade for picnics and hanging out. Good places for sports and culture. There's a nice spot for reading but I only found books in Slovenian to borrow, so sadly couldn't stay there.
  • Its such a glorious space right in the centre (almost) of the city Bus 1 or 25 goes past and its well worth it. You can walk straight to the centre of town and have an ice-cream outside the modern art museum
  • One of the most beautiful park I have ever seen in my life. Very big and green, it seems to be in a forest instead if in a city. Nice place for walking and chilling.
  • I Love this place.. It got a special vibe where if I go there every negative vibe will be gone and even I can come back with positive vibe. Hiking 🥾, football, swimming pool, basketball 🏀, skating these are my hobbies in Tivoli park. It is also a good place for couples I think locals know it more.
