  • There isn't anything majestic here, but the implementions of Plecnik's view on the old walls is really nice. It gives you a peacful feeling and you get away from the crowds to get some rest. If you ar...  more »
  • Came back with friends to visit this ancient walled complex of fortified walls of Emona. The signs have been very useful to learn about the history and details of the various remains. Always recommended If you enjoyed this review, you can read about my many other for Ljubljana and a I'm glad a click on: is it useful?

  • As I'm a fan of Roman ruins I had to go there. And even if this is only a small excavation, I would say it is worth a look. The Plečnik Pyramid, which was build in the (I think) 19. century is nicely integrated into the wall.
  • Worth to go check it out (as all roman ruims), but it misses information panels.
  • This wall was a part of Roman sewer. There is also a park stretching along the wall. During summer, it is a great place to enjoy the silence, but being just minutes from crowded centre. Not many people know of this, apparently. If you are more of a historian, there are signs with some text explaining the role of this wall.
  • Perfect spot for hanging out and rock climbing. Not crowded.
