  • Sacred place where they are buried more than 7000 Italians who fell during World War I. Reach the shrine is simple.

  • We found ourselves here by accident. Maybe if I knew more about it I would have enjoyed it more. The views are stunning though and the monument makes for fantastic photos. 
  • A place that is well worth a visit. Along with the Kobarid Museum is the site most reminiscent of what happened in these areas. The shrine is perfectly preserved; is reached after about 500 m. from the main square in Kobarid following a steep climb. Reached the shrine you can admire the church dedicated to Saint Anthony of Padua. Also, after visiting the graves that collect the over 7,000 casualties, a look at the beautiful panorama below and the mountains surrounding Kobarid. However, always remembering what happened!!!
