Are you can turn Lake Bled and make different stops and then deviate to Bohinjska Bistrica by a broad Valley of great beauty and come into the glacial Lake of Bohinj (ideal for hiking). The next day, we got in a historic train that runs regularly and flows through the South of the Julian Alps up to Nova Gorica and the other side is Gorizia (monumental part which was in power in Italy after the war), reached the minibus 1 from the station in 15 minutes. Take the train in Bled Jezero (to the North of Bled) - taxi 15 or 20 euros - or take the bus in front of the Astoria Hotel to Bohinjska Bistrica and take in this season. The train is dirt cheap and rather slow so that you can admire the beautiful scenery. (Not to confused with the tourist train of high season with much paraphernalia and pageantry which is extremely expensive) - horse-drawn carriages are the same. At the end of the tour train runs parallel to the river Soca (Isonzo in Italian), called Emerald River in honor to the colour of its waters. With good weather, you can stop in a town like Most na Soci, to enjoy the place and nature. We want to return with the best time for hiking in the upper part of these beautiful mountains.show original
