  • A once in a lifetime experience, where you can see the entire mining history of this small town. The shaft is well kempt and safe, the only thing I'd like to see is an expansion of the museum and more access to the mine.
  • Shaft is well kept and before you enter you get to see short movie about the past of it. You enter in small groups and guides tell you a lot of interesting stories about mining in this particular shaft. Walkthrough takes about an hour and if you have some good questions it can get longer.
  • Definitely go here when in the area! The mine itself is very impressive and our guide was a great storyteller. We also went to the smelting plant nearby where you can see how the ore was processed after it was mined.
  • I learnt lots of history about the mine. Wear comfortable shoes no flip flops. First you see a film then get you get a jacket and Helmut. The entire tour is about 1.5 hours. Not wheelchair accessible.
  • Just the trip inside de mine worth the ticket. Good explanation and some exhibition.
