  • Joined the world heritage by the Unesco. A must-see! In December, a few visits only in the day and small groups. 15 people so far.

  • Divided into two parts--a cave of silence and noise of a cave where the river Rieka will accompany you to the exit. Italian guide, the winter is only available path that short, walking 1:30 that will leave you speechless! GO for IT!

  • If you are visiting the Skockjan Caves you must go the extra bit and hike a little bit further to see the view over the gorge, it's absolutely stunning! You may be tired as coming out of the caves is ...  more »
  • The cave tours are great, not that many people. Very beautiful, giant and still active karst caves. The way from Divaca to the ticket office is not well connected. The best way would be driving your own car. Or you could take the bus from the train station, I missed this bus just because I went to the restroom after getting off the train, so I agree that this bus service is not good also; or you could walk to there, it takes about 35 mins; in the end, we end up renting a bicycle biking there, which turns out to be a bad idea, you don't want to bike among the mountains before taking a tourism tour, it's exhausting.
  • Škocjan caves are part of the Unesco heritage. A must see if you visit Slovenija.
  • Do not go to these caves or the awful little town Divaca. The bus to the caves left early despite us being at the stop on time were unable to catch the bus and therefore missed the cave tour. The bus driver was rude, unfriendly and yelled at us saying he was at the bus stop at 3. The sign said they left at 3.10. What a terrible experience and a horrible place.
  • We thought visiting this cave after the postojna caves would be less of an experience. We were wrong. The Skojcan caves really do deliver in the mesmerizing department, and will leave you amazed for a few hours.
  • Amazing experiences in the cave. Great tour as you will be divided into groups of languages such as English, Dutch or Italian. Wish they allow us to take pictures in this amazing cave.
