  • This UNESCO site is well worth the trip from Ruzomberok, lovely setting and authentic 150 year old village.
  • Mountain village not too easy because the road especially in the final stretch is poorly paved. But once there you realize why this small village is part of the unesco. The country is all uphill and to the sides of the road there are these small houses, some (few) still inhabited, all wood and painted with bright colors the different. All around greenery and breathtaking views. Loved it!

  • Much talk about something, not anything special. Beautifully painted houses and anything else interesting ... difficult to access, is worth just for walking in the mountains. There are dozens of such villages.

  • Nice Unesco village, it is pity, that the people here just started to have enough money to repair their houses. But on the other hand, once they would have had money before, there would not be any Unesco village.
  • A beautiful little village located in the hills of Slovakia. Worth the small excursion if you're in the immediate area.
  • Wonderful historical village that has several exhibits aimed at showing traditional ways of life. Various knickknacks are for sale and this an overall charming excursion. The views are beautiful as well.
  • Lovely old village but I was expecting to see more exhibitions ( previous life in village). The staff was most of the time ignoring us. Couldn't find toilets at all! At least the views were with it
  • Wonderful to walk through and feel the history. I wish it wasn't a working village thought it would have made the experience more interesting.
