The first museum this holiday where my daughter (15 years) as an adult had to pay (unless they had had with a student card). That was all of us on an unfriendly way with gestures (because they do not speak English). Sure whether we still would go but still visited by the museum. The museum itself was not quite what I had expected. It is not about the history of the city but is a mixed bag of issues some of which interesting and others not .... but that is a matter of taste. View from the tower is rather nice.

Where to stay in Bratislava

Save money on a trip to the pricey town of Bratislava by booking a private room or by staying in one of the many hostels. While there are hotels here, frequent business travelers have driven prices up. Find accommodation in Stary Mesto--the city's Old Town--and experience the medieval charm of the area, such as winding streets, old churches, and a hill-top castle. Consider staying on the Danube for riverside views. Be sure to check the reviews of your lodging ahead of time; the quality of accommodations can vary.
