  • all floors have no more (I'm talking about the expos) but it depends on each one. what I thought it was better, it is the temporary exhibition in the ground - floor (June 2017), but I recommend only for the place!

  • This privately owned gallery with very unique Guggenhein style design contains all the most popular arts from Slovak painters. There is a nice cafe inside as well. Located in the very centre of the ol...  more »
  • Small gallery with a cafeteria and book store. The gallery focus is on Slovak 19th to 21st century art. I love their Mednyansky collection.  more »

  • Definitely the highlight of my visit to Bratislava. I visited in mid to late September on a weekday so it wasn't very busy. The receptionist there was very kind and made me feel welcome. The tablets they provided worked very well and helped give background on the artists. Based on the receptionist's recommendation, I started on the top floor and made my way down. I enjoyed seeing the different pieces by Slovakian artists who had their own takes during the different art movements. Finally, the gallery feels very modern with a great interior design. Would highly recommend.
  • A total highlight if you like local art. Amazing space, very good pieces show-cases and mesmerizing atmosphere. You can tell the person behind it loves art and invested his heart into it. Lovely space for the soul!
  • A gallery with contemporary artists from Slovakia. No entry, because the establishment is sponsored by a bank. The building is very modern inside and reminds with the round courtyard at Guggenheim. The multimedia support is top and with image recognition on the state of the art. There is a top WiFi there is probably not mentioned. There is also a café for guests to relax. Overall an impressive place.
  • An incredible place. Never mind it looks and tries to feel like NYC's Guggenheim. We are talking in the context of Bratislava, and he or is unique. The buzz it gives cannot be found anywhere else in this town. A sparkle of 'alternative' in a traditional Central European city, full of certain traditions and reservations. Go for it!!!
  • Looking for a breathtaking modern art experience in Bratislava? Go to Nedbalka! Nice architecture as a bonus :-)

Where to stay in Bratislava

Save money on a trip to the pricey town of Bratislava by booking a private room or by staying in one of the many hostels. While there are hotels here, frequent business travelers have driven prices up. Find accommodation in Stary Mesto--the city's Old Town--and experience the medieval charm of the area, such as winding streets, old churches, and a hill-top castle. Consider staying on the Danube for riverside views. Be sure to check the reviews of your lodging ahead of time; the quality of accommodations can vary.
