Designed to resemble a sort of modernist Roman galley, the sleek museum features a large collection of pieces from the Netherlands because of founder Gerard Meulensteen's own Dutch heritage. You'll also find plenty of works representing Slovakia, the U.S., and other European countries. Swing by the gift shop and pick up an art-related souvenir or print of one of the museum's pieces. In the Interiors displayed works of art by various internationally renowned artists and dominating right now is a Joan Miro and the Cobra group exhibition that runs until mid-November. Incredibly beautiful and should not be missed if you are in the vicinity – i.e. in Slovakia, Austria or Hungary! Don't forget to take a walk on the Museum's roof and admire the views of the Danube River and Bratislava. In the area there is also an art shop with high-quality souvenirs, books, catalogues, postcards and even artwork for sale. In the Art Café with an outdoor terrace, you can enjoy coffee, ice cream and even small dishes at the same time have a wonderful view over the Danube with all the passing river boats. From Bratislava you can get to the Danubiana on bikes, by car or bus. On Saturdays and Sundays, you can take a ferry, which is very nice in the summer, Ferry ticket, which costs 12 € includes entrance ticket to the exhibition and car parking is free if you visit exhibition that costs 10 € for adults, € 5 for children or 20 € for a family.show original

Worth the visit. During the summer you can use the boat transport too!
Surprisingly very interesting gallery and its collection. Definitely worth the time to get there from Bratislava. Car is the best, but there is also river transport available.
