  • One of the best place to walk around if you are a nature lover. The chirping birds and the smell of earth are just so pure and organic at its best. It is good for the soul. For me this is nature therapy to get away from all the stress. The other plus point is the path are well paved and when you get to Alexandra Arch onwards you feel like walking in the air because the path raised and you walk along with trees. I suggest you to start early in the morning before the sun is up so that you can enjoy the coolness of the air.
  • It would be an arduous journey if you really want to cover all the areas. Would be great for someone who loves nature and hiking. Some of the areas like Mt Faber and Labrador Nature Reserve have a long history so it's definitely a great experience to check them out!
  • Escape into this lush green refuge in the heart of a bustling city and let the well marked foot paths lead you to various bridges and elevations. Get a good view of the southern landscape above the Henderson Waves (a beautiful bridge structure 36 meters above the street), explore above the tree tops along the Canopy Walk, and lots more. You can get lost in this space (in a good way) as you enjoy the embrace of tropical greenery while spotting interesting critters and plant life. Popular for joggers who wanted some hill training. Just be careful of slippery route after a rain.
  • One of the best walking / running locations in Singapore with fantastic views and good places to rest along the way. If you have 2-3 hours would recommend walking from Mount Faber (Faber Peak) all the way to Alexandra Road (over the Henderson Waves). Good for tourists.
  • If you love walking amongst nature, this is the place to go. You get views of trees, the sound of birds chirping, fresh air and a sense of calm. If you're afraid of heights, tread carefully over the walkway and simply don't look directly down your feet. You might see some monkeys and birds, so don't ever litter. Enjoy the peace.

Message from Singapore Tourism Board
A trek along The Southern Ridges brings visitors to five other parks - Mount Faber Park, Telok Blangah Hill Park, HortPark, Kent Ridge Park and the Labrador Nature Reserve. Spread over 10km of green and open spaces, a hike through The Southern Ridges takes visitors to five local parks which are linked by park connectors. As part of the journey, travellers cross bridges through the Adinandra Belukar, a distinct secondary forest, and can observe a variety of birds. Henderson Waves is another highlight of the walk. Its Singapore’s highest pedestrian bridge is a marvel during nightfall - it is illuminated with LED lighting. Trekkers can enjoy panoramic views of lush greenery, sights and sounds of wildlife.
