Where to stay in Singapore

For leading chain hotels, head to the area around Orchard Road, considered the tourist center of Singapore due to its varied selection of rooms, good travel links, and tourist-focused businesses. At the eastern end of the road, you'll find more luxurious and expensive options, with hotels located in impressive colonial-era architecture. North and south of this main artery, backpacker hostels and budget hotels provide affordable rooms with basic facilities.

  • Private club. Very exclusive. Well served in the restaurants. Unfortunately the parking is huge for a club this size so you need to be very sportive to arrive at the clubhouse. Can't do anything about it though. Oldish people with not great legs beware.
  • I had lunch there. The food was nice but I expected better looking girls
  • We played a tournament at the New course. The course was hilly but interesting. The facilities were new and complete. We were impressed by the service. Middle of our game, a mini-truck approached us with cool drinks, bananas and butter cakes.
  • Membership country club place. decent location to hangout.
  • Gathering at Bukit SICC's cafe 19 holes with girlfriends. Great menu, even the children enjoyed themselves and completed their kids meals. They had ordered Marconi and cheese set, hor fun set and nugget set.
