The Museum was located in a beautiful setting with a nice Japanese and Chinese garden. The Museum was pretty depressing with the turtles cooped up in small cages. My kids thought it was funny to feed the free-range turtles, but the whole place felt run down and sorry for the animals.

Last time we came here was nearly 3 years ago and so it was time to pay another visit. The setup doesn't seem to have changed much since our last visit, and there are still plenty of turtles and torto...  more »

Great place for those who love turtle and tortoise. There are quite numbers of turtle and tortoise roaming around the park (so we have to be careful, especially when we bring younger children along). ...  more »

The kids really enjoyed feeding the turtles/tortoises here. But it is VERY run down (-1 star for that). I hope the entrance fee really is going towards renovating the facility.

$5 entry per person to see the largest collection of turtles in the world. It's worth a look in, especially during feeding time (afternoons).

I just went there today. Here are some things you need to take note • entrance fee is $5 for per person 6/7 - 64 and $3 for those not in that age range • $2 is for a bunch of long beans(about 20) and $1 for a packet of pellets. (I suggest you buy the long beans as you can hold the beans while you feed the turtles/tortoises) • you cannot feed some of them so check the signs • you are not allowed to hold any of them. I rated 4 stars because I really enjoyed my experience there. However, I am no animal expert so I will leave some photos. The place is not so big. It's about the area of an executive flat(except it's rectangular)

A cosy and small museum for tortoises and turtles lovers and to learn much more about them. Some tortoises (some of them are rather huge, gentle giants) are even free to roam around. I hope they can have a bigger place for more tortoises to roam around.

Nice place to see amazing turtles. I really enjoyed the visit.

Where to stay in Singapore

For leading chain hotels, head to the area around Orchard Road, considered the tourist center of Singapore due to its varied selection of rooms, good travel links, and tourist-focused businesses. At the eastern end of the road, you'll find more luxurious and expensive options, with hotels located in impressive colonial-era architecture. North and south of this main artery, backpacker hostels and budget hotels provide affordable rooms with basic facilities.
