The Centrepoint Reviews

Went with 2 young kids, toilets were kids friendly. The walkways are spacious, very comfortable in the mall. Lots of choices for lunch and dinner. more »

Visually older and smaller than others along Orchard Rd, but, well maintained, inviting and still a pleasant shopping experience. The Metro department store had what you would usually expect to find more »

more »
It is a shopping complex stands out the appearance of the Crimson in some parts may be hard to see and walk on the sidewalk in front of the entrance. Facing Orchard Road Street, stream of people went in the store. As many local young people, Astrud Gilberto, and many of the casual but failed.View original

Love this shopping centre. It may not offer as many stores as the biggest malls in Orchard; however, still houses Metro Department Store. The mall is generally well laid out. This explains why it does not appear crowded even when it is. The are loads of eateries located at the Basement Levels and Restaurant on the 4th Level. Car park is available; however, beware if you are parking for more than an hour as the charges are calculated in blocks of 15 minutes after the first hour.

One of the older Malls in Singapore that added floorspace a number of years ago. Simple floor layout fir ease of navigation and has a spacious feel. Robinsons Departmental store and Cold Storage supermarket have been an anchor tenant for as long as I can remember. Reasonably good selection of restaurants and eateries.

Oh wow! After battling crowds at Ion Orchard it was delightful to visit thisless crowded centre. Beautiful, several nice stores, and literally glittering escalators (when viewed from the side). Such fun! Okay, what's really the best is the food, though. Several fantastic spots for noodles or soup or other happiness in the food area on the 4th floor. And then after dining still more shops to see like Metro and so forth. Good restrooms in this mall too. Very clean.

I brought my son to Pirate bay. The place is perfect for kids. It is split in to different areas offering a variety of themes.

Centrepoint is a 'veteran' mall along the Orchard Road belt, probably about 40 years old. It used to be the 'in' place in its hey days but now it's in a semi-retired mode. Centrepoint has been trumped by other bigger and more exciting malls nearby in the last 10 years at least. It went through a revamp a few years back and now they have increased the number of eateries. The former Robinson's Department Store has been replaced by Metro. Within Centrepoint, there's a mishmash of shops like a small Times Bookstore on the 4th level, Cold Storage at B1, Guardian Pharmacy, a few apparel shops, Starbucks, Coffee bean and Tea Leaves just to name a few. I guess due to the competition from other newer and more exciting malls along Orchard Road, Centrepoint is merely existing as it has lost its shine since a decade ago at least.
