  • The temple has many statues around, if it isn't new, of course is well maintained. Could take the tent you have at the entrance to leave the beautiful facade in sight.

  • Was standing right near the hotel. Just left of the temple, tourists seemed like many people are those who have both temples. Local worshippers that had Chinese and India series to reveal different layers.

  • This is a very nice Hindu Temple. Construction began in 1870 and there have been several upgrades and improvements over the decades. We are all able to worship in our own ways and although I don't kno...  more »

  • The indian temple which is jointly prayed by Singaporeans in Singapore. There is an incense holder in front of the temple, which is not common in indian temples, which is used by the chinese devotees who brought incense to pray to the indian gods.
  • Hindu temple, ritual, next to Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho temple, Bugis street The temple opens early in the morning, so that becomes my only option to spend my last day in the city/country. The front part is a larger than human size statue of an indian man and a half monkey. Inside is a fine porcelain statue depicting a goddess. The main hall is not too big. There was a morning ritual with three indian men wearing traditional robes led a prayer, and played some music. The walls are full of statues, painted mostly in blue or green. Saw horse head god protected by an umbrella of snakes, probably Hayagriva, but I am not sure. Saw some manifestation of Vishnu deities. The main altar should be Krishna, painted in black, adorned by colorful clothing and real flower garland.
  • Very interesting and less frequented temple than the Buddhist temple next to it. I enjoyed coming here and seeing the temple very much.
  • A Hindu temple conveniently located to serve devotees. Also a popular temple with tourists and camera bugs.
  • Nice sanctums and closing prayers are soothing.
