Singapore River, Singapore
(4.3/5 based on 1,000+ reviews on the web)
Discover nightlife, world-class dining, and scenic boat tours at Singapore River. This body of water features three quays, each of which has its own walkway for visitors. This river originally functioned as a route for trade and transport, but suffered heavily from pollution. In 1977, the government cleaned and revitalized this river as a part of greater redevelopment. Now, you can enjoy strolls along the river, as well as the many bars and restaurants that line its banks. It couldn't be easier to arrange your visit to Singapore River and many more Singapore attractions: make an itinerary online using Inspirock's Singapore itinerary builder.

  • Sit in comfort as you see Singapore with a clear talk about Singapore. The boats are comfortable and there is plenty room in each boat
  • The Singapore River is one of the 90 rivers on the island, and given the size of the country which in fact is not very large: only 11 km in length, from its source in the center of the island before flowing into the Indian Ocean! It is the mouth that Sir Raffles founded the first trading post which has become since then at the Singapore River and served as the main artery of the city, both for trade and transport, despite some flaws. Today's pollution, traffic, and the river has decreased significantly, and the river that passes through the business centre of Singapore, surrounded by a beautiful colonial building.

  • Nice place to go in the late evening. Good food around the area. Relaxing to sit by the river. Boat Quay was where we visited
