Went to watch at night around 9 pm. Gondola, large air conditioning and comfortable. You can fully enjoy the night view of Singapore. You stand there in the Middle, and wanted to take pictures.

We went on the flyer in July 2017, we were surprised to find it very uncrowned, so much so, that we had one of the absolutely ginormous pods to ourselves!! It's quite slow, so you have plenty of time ...  more »

The Flyer is a great attraction, which gives terrific views of the Marina Bay area and the gardens & tall trees over the water. It’s a calm, relaxing experience which even those usually afraid of such...  more »

Great place to bring overseas friends to enjoy Singapore skylines, river flow, cityscape and night lights. This is one ride that never fails to impress overseas guests as they take in the scenic view of Singapore. I would give it a 5-star if they have more food choices, more unique flyer souvenirs and perks for the Singaporean visitors who bring overseas friends.

Must Do in Singapore trip with family. Viewing the city from , and enjoying it, gives a different pleasure. Rising above the tall buildings, and being able to see far and beyond is a lovely feeling. So this ride is a must-do for all age groups. Children too enjoy it. This is a true marvel of engineering. Big glass capsules, able to accommodate 10-15 adults, having some sitting area in it as well. It takes close to 40 minutes for the full circle of this giant wheel to complete. This is not wheel chair friendly, as you have to hop on to a moving wheel, which would be difficult for very aged people, and people with mobility issues. Buying tickets in advance is advisable. You can see the commercial district, the river, gardens by the bay, the sea, the marina , and everything else. The view is amazing in both daylight and night. Though you get to see more in the day, the lights in the night make it a beautiful one. On an lazy day , you can request for a separate cabin as well.

Wonderful experience. Got to visit the flyer twice, once in eve and other at daytime. Evening time once the sun is set is the best time. You get to see the island in all its beauty. The racecourse illuminated, the highways with all the lights and the near buy islands of malaysia can be clearly enjoyed.

The best public attraction spot in Singapore. The best time to take the flyer ride is in between evening and night such that you get both the views day and night. Gives you complete Singapore view. The ride is about half an hour and you can enjoy the view from all sides as the cubicles are very large and spacious.

Where to stay in Singapore

For leading chain hotels, head to the area around Orchard Road, considered the tourist center of Singapore due to its varied selection of rooms, good travel links, and tourist-focused businesses. At the eastern end of the road, you'll find more luxurious and expensive options, with hotels located in impressive colonial-era architecture. North and south of this main artery, backpacker hostels and budget hotels provide affordable rooms with basic facilities.
