Sentosa Boardwalk, Sentosa Island
(4.4/5 based on 800+ reviews on the web)
Stroll along the water's edge with the harbor lights in the distance at Sentosa Boardwalk. This scenic route is the pedestrian way into Sentosa, starting at the waterfront shopping mall and making its way onto the island. The walkway is made accessible by two-way moving sidewalks covered by a canopy. The boardwalk is also the first in Southeast Asia to feature indigenous, tropical landscapes. You'll pass modern architecture, jungle landscape, manicured gardens, theme parks, and anchored ships on your walk. Remember to pack water and sunscreen. Put Sentosa Boardwalk into our Sentosa Island itinerary builder and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

  • There is sooo much to see along the boardwalk including a massive cruise ship atm and the harbour. There are plenty of places to eat and drink, be mindful of the toilets not being to close. Definitely...  more »
  • Visitors going to Sentosa may take the Sentosa Boardwalk (for free) instead of taking the Sentosa express which would cost you S$4. It's a refreshing walk by the bay and will take you 5 to 10 minutes ...  more »
  • This is pretty cool place to spend the day. They have tons of shopping & eating. There is beach, Segway tours, lots of stuff to do.

  • To tighten your budget to get Sentosa Island this boardwalk is really helpful. Not quite far, about 500 meters. And we really not walk for that long because the walking machine just like in the airport. They have roof so you won't get sunburn and protected from rain. Also you can take picture the ship during the walk. To get back the main island you can take sentosa express for free :)
  • A Sheltered walkway to get free entrance to sentosa island, you can exit sentosa by walking, monorail to Vivo City, or by free shuttle from Resort World Sentosa Basement Car Park.
  • Currently free until December 31 2016. After that I'm guessing $1. Great way to enter sentosa Island. There are magic carpets that help you walk the path much quicker. It's beautiful, green, you have coverage from the sun and beautiful view of the sentosa sign as you enter. You can take the sentosa sky train for free on the way back, if you'd like. Skytrain only costs for the one entrance into sentosa ($4)
  • Inside VivoCity, we're looking for the sign to Promenade Sentosa Boardwalk. On the boardwalk, there are travelator to help us reach Sentosa faster. Do not worry about the sun and rain since we're protected. There's a deck for us to stop for a while to enjoy the sea. Thru Sentosa Boardwalk we can enter Sentosa freely until Dec 2016. I go back to Singapore by monorail, it's also free.
  • Its the cheapest way to get into sentosa. Don't worry, you can still take the trams and buses within sentosa as they do not require your entrance ticket to be produced.
