  • Honestly, this place was terrible. For $16 I expected a lot more. It really was an embarrassment for Sentosa as a whole. The whole place needs to shut for a few months for refurbishment as it is old, outdated, run down and very substandard. They then try to charge you to have a photo with a bird (it's a butterfly and insect park). The rooms of dead insects that are all repeats of the boards before are subpar and the random, non labelled pictures on the walls are completely odd and out of place. The insects are not properly labelled so you can't read about them or even see what insect they are. Most of the little areas in the butterfly area are closed off due to damaged wood/stairs/platforms etc Honestly, do not waste your money.
  • The most exciting place for butterfly and insect enthusiasts. Some of the insects are pretty large!
  • Disappointing. This place is really tired now, and feels like it is overdue a refurb. When we went we saw about 3 butterflies too so you also have to time it right! Don't go in May!
  • Outdated and not maintained. Sections are closed due to disrepair, many attractions in their terrarium were dead and it was very expensive at $16 per adult. I expect they will soon announce its closing down due renovation or replacement.
  • It feels more like a really small garden with some butterflies on it, and facilities are run down. The bugs are in dingy dark corridor, really just a few of them in small glass containers, poor bugs. Paying SGD 32 for two adults is definitely overpriced, if you come with your kid, save your time and money and go somewhere else. It's not a butterfly and insect kingdom, this really close to a scam I find.
