Science Museum Museum
Unleash your inner Einstein at Science Centre, a science site with more than 850 exhibits and eight different galleries all centered around science and technology. The museum's landmark architecture, featuring two twin spires at the entrance, was the result of an architectural design competition. The center houses the country's first IMAX theatre, as well as a state-of-the-art observatory--one of the only ones in the world along the equator-- so it provides views of both the northern and southern celestial hemispheres. Peer through the telescope yourself to catch a glimpse of galaxies far away. With our custom trip planner, Singapore attractions like Science Centre can be center stage of your vacation plans, and you can find out about other attractions like it, unlike it, near it, and miles away.

Where to stay in Singapore

For leading chain hotels, head to the area around Orchard Road, considered the tourist center of Singapore due to its varied selection of rooms, good travel links, and tourist-focused businesses. At the eastern end of the road, you'll find more luxurious and expensive options, with hotels located in impressive colonial-era architecture. North and south of this main artery, backpacker hostels and budget hotels provide affordable rooms with basic facilities.

  • An awesome interactive science centre. Great for kids and adults. From mazes to the history of scientific research and discovery; my school aged kids have made several field trips here and this was my first time going, I was amazed with everything there is to see and do. Plenty of places to grab a bite or coffee without having to leave the centre. Do visit the Mirror Maze, the largest in Asia, lots of fun. Overa a must visit for anyone in Singapore.
  • Wonderful place to bring the kids on the weekend. Educational and entertaining for the children. Better than wasting money on entertainment with zero educational value. Highlight was certainly the butterfly garden, which was very well maintained with loads of butterfly species. Downside was that some of the exhibits are poorly maintained, especially the defence exhibits. Not that children need to see military science anyway but if there's an exhibit on it, it should be maintained at the very least.
  • This is a wonderful place not only for the kids but also for the adults. So much fun with learning. It is one of the not to miss Singapore attractions. It has water play area where children can enjoy as well as learn fundamental science. Can go to snow park along with science centre.
  • A wonderful place to take kids. Went with 2 kids aged 11 and 13 years and had a wonderful time. Live sessions every hour were nice. I would suggest visitors mark one complete day in calendar. Got discounted tickets by email from qoo10.
  • Amazing place ! You can explore and learn a lot here. Followed Learning by doing approach. Great fun with learning and watching practically. I suggest u to visit Singapore Science centre positively.
