Explore the ecosystems of some of the world's great rivers at River Safari. You can visit exhibits inspired by many of the world's great rivers, including the Nile, Congo, and Yangtze. Keep an eye out for the stars of the show, the zoo's two giant pandas Kai Kai and Jia Jia. You can also see smaller red pandas and exotic pheasants in the pandas' forest. Finally, take a boat ride through the jungle on the Amazon River Quest. Don't buy your tickets for the boat ride in advance, as organizers reserve the right to cancel this activity in case of rains. • It was fun to learn about the animals that live in and around rivers of the world. The river cruise wasn't open so we didn't get to see that part of the park. The other parts were nice though with interesting fish, manatees, river otters, and pandas among other animals. We went around twice on a weekday, which was a rather quiet and enjoyable experience. We also went on the reservoir boat ride, which was a nice ride but didn't see any animals except giraffes at the main zoo.
  • Who knew fresh water animals were so amazing! I now want to see the world's great rivers. Honestly it's eye-opening, you'll see river in whole other way. The panda's were super cute, we went through the panda exhibit twice because the first time everyone was sleeping or grooming in the corner. Second time we caught them at feeding time and bouncing around. so i recommend you taking your time if you wanna see them in action.
  • The newest zoo in Singapore (up to this point). Very well maintained, the animals are well fed and taken care responsibly. Of course, the 2 pandas are everyone's favourites. But some of my favourites also include the red pandas (just before you visit the pandas), the big crocodiles, some of the big fishes, and of course the dugongs towards the end is truly a magical experience. If the uncle that sells ice-cream in the pineapple is still there, try it, it's very good! :)
  • It was very cool, Halloween party today and all the staff dressed up. We saw Panda for the 1st time. Place very well done and clean. Definitely worth doing.
  • Follow a single loop path through this very well setup zoo. Lots of educational displays, great variety of animals and two boat rides. Great for little kids looking for a two hour highlight tour of animals.
