#3 of 77 in Outdoors in Singapore
Explore the ecosystems of some of the world's great rivers at River Safari. You can visit exhibits inspired by many of the world's great rivers, including the Nile, Congo, and Yangtze. Keep an eye out for the stars of the show, the zoo's two giant pandas Kai Kai and Jia Jia. You can also see smaller red pandas and exotic pheasants in the pandas' forest. Finally, take a boat ride through the jungle on the Amazon River Quest. Don't buy your tickets for the boat ride in advance, as organizers reserve the right to cancel this activity in case of rains. • It is my daughter's favorite place. In the passage 廻remasu, look at all in the roof because it was raining. Wander about 2 hours if small children are fine. Attractions include a little. Recommend the touch Horseshoe crabs and the Panda?

  • Lots of fresh water species. Totally different from other zoo type attractions. Wasn't sure about the Amazon River Quest, but really glad we did it. Well worth the extra. Panda's! Who doesn't like Pan...  more »

  • It's a great place to spend time with the kids (5-8 year old) with close encounters with the wild creatures in there. There's no need to be under the hot sun too long and the main highlights of the attraction are the pandas and the manatees. There's also educational materials for visitors to know how the importance of conserving the environment. Look out for scheduled interactions with some animals with snakes, iguanas and other animals not found in your homes or backyards.
  • It was nice. Do not bother to go for the cruise if you do not like to queue. It's not worth the queue. If you do not mind waiting, it's ok to join them. The ride wasn't much. The amazon ride was quite fun for the kids but they have to be of a min height. The panda cafe was very very crowded. It was impossible to get a table Long walk to the exit. Pandas were adorable. Lucky to be able to see them
  • Well set out but the extra charge to see a large part of the zoo (via a ride) is a bit of a cheek. The manatee exhibit is beautiful as are a number of others such as the Mekong River tank. Animals are clearly well cared for.
  • Absolutely a world class attraction. Lots of interesting aquatic and reptilian creatures....all related to the great rivers of the world. The park is divided into different zones. Briliant idea. The pandas were the icing on the cake. 2 thumbs up.
  • I enjoyed this riverine park, that allows me to have close encounters with freshwater ecological system and their habitats. I am fascinated with the parks use of natural ventilation, light and cool walk ways. A great park to visit for educational awareness of freshwater ecosystem through different part of the world.
