  • I remember this mall opened in the 80s and the attached westin hotel was the tallest in asia or even the world. Now it's the swissotel and the basement of the mall underwent a dramatic and successful ...  more »
  • I was staying at Swissotel that’s connected to this mall.. visited Raffles City a couple of times.. it’s got most nice brands.. bought a couple of good stuff here.. excellent food stalls downstairs.. ...  more »
  • Located in the city center, in the hot zone of light, every array of children have to flee to the shopping center blowing cold air, a lot of very large and complete merchandise, optional, second-class brand-name package cheaper than Hong Kong

  • I never really like this mall. It's really small and complicated. Especially when it comes to finding a washroom. However, the best thing about it is that, it links you to Marina square really fast. It's a short cut as compared to the long walk couple of years back. If you are going to be on a budget, I suggest not going there for your shopping or meals. The one thing I love about the mall is the Sufood. A vegetarian restaurant that serves authentic vegetarian food from Taiwan. Worth every single penny. Their service is superb.
  • Great range of shops, very upmarket. We come here almost every weekend to eat at the City Link in the basement. Good place to look around, but we don't shop here due to high prices. Good atmosphere too, & not too crowded.
  • One of my favorite malls in Singapore. It has most of the shops one looks for in a mall, both top premium brands as well as locals Plenty of options for a meal, including PS Cafe. One of the reasons why I like this place is its compactness. Unlike Vivo mall where you can walk forward endlessly, this place is more compact and easier on the legs.
  • Has lots of finger food and restaurants in the basement. Robinson's has been the anchor tenant for a long time and they do have sales often. The food court on the top floor is spacious and clean and there are many good outlets.
  • City is the right word. This place was HUGE. It was warm inside so that was a little uncomfortable but it wasn't surprising do to all the people in there. The shops were fun to stroll around and look at all the cool things. We got some awesome items to remember our trip. Was a maze trying to find shops we wanted to go back to see. The coolest part was we could take underground tunnels to get from one side of the street to the other so we could stay out of the heart and rain. I would love to go back.

Where to stay in Singapore

For leading chain hotels, head to the area around Orchard Road, considered the tourist center of Singapore due to its varied selection of rooms, good travel links, and tourist-focused businesses. At the eastern end of the road, you'll find more luxurious and expensive options, with hotels located in impressive colonial-era architecture. North and south of this main artery, backpacker hostels and budget hotels provide affordable rooms with basic facilities.
