  • One of the main temples on the island to visit. Nice quiet temple. Lot of mosquitos if you stand still so have to keep moving or do apply insect repellant before visiting
  • The Buddhist temple is managed by life awareness Buddhist center. It's abbot is lama 释智真。
  • We were completely lost by bike and found this wonderful place, but owners are not very welcoming, they released a dog on us wich allmost bite us. Thanks god we were on bikes.
  • The Wei Tuo Fa Gong temple is in the vicinity of Bukit Puaka and approximately 2km from the Pulau Ubin jetty. It houses shrines dedicated to several Buddhas (it appears to be a Tibetan school of Buddhism) and also Hindu deities. A chief character here is the Kshitigarbha Boddhisatva, known for his vow to not achieve enlightenment until all living beings are rescued from hell. The temple is situated on a small hill and on the other side, is a small pond with terrapins and fish. This place has a tranquil and rustic appeal.
  • Other than the colourful prayer banners, do look out for the beautiful insects too.
