Mount Faber, Singapore

4.0
Take in panoramic views of the city's central business district from the summit of Mount Faber. This modest hill is 105 m (344 ft) high, and is often sought out for its hiking and walking trails that take visitors to its summit. The hill is surrounded by rainforest vegetation, and provides views of the city, the forest, and even the harbor and islands in the distance. You can also reach the hill's summit by cable car, where you'll be granted an exclusive, aerial view of the rainforest canopy below. Once there, look for the wishing bells that can be attached the the handrails;,don't forget to ring the bell of happiness. • This is one of the best place to get a good view of Singapore. Make sure you visit it in either the morning hours or the evening. The view is worth the trip.  more »
  • - Easily accessible from Harbourfront MRT station. - The cable car to Sentosa runs from here. - Good viees of the southern parts of Singapore from various lookout points. - Great place for some "hill"...  more »
  • This time Singapore arranged for a one-day Tausha ride in the cable car, and bought an excellent two-way ticket at the travel agency, can sit in the Huabe, my way is to sit from the city of Yi Tausha, one day after the end of the Tausha sitting to the Huabe, from the flower Baishan sit back to the city, the full use of cable car roll. Saying to Huabe this place, there is really nothing to see, you can look at the scenery, high view of the landscape is indeed correct, to go to the mountains, there's nothing to go, there's a restaurant in the building with Cable's station, and a souvenir shop, and there's no other way after the scene, so we stay for about 30 minutes, although it's a poor scene, But buying a double cable car ticket is a sure way to see it.

Where to stay in Singapore

For leading chain hotels, head to the area around Orchard Road, considered the tourist center of Singapore due to its varied selection of rooms, good travel links, and tourist-focused businesses. At the eastern end of the road, you'll find more luxurious and expensive options, with hotels located in impressive colonial-era architecture. North and south of this main artery, backpacker hostels and budget hotels provide affordable rooms with basic facilities.
