Merlion Park, Singapore
(4.1/5 based on 5,500+ reviews on the web)
Witness one world's most bizarre statues at Merlion Park, famed for its figure of a half lion, half fish shooting water from its mouth in a proud arc. Built in 1964, the 9 m (30 ft) statue now represents one of Singapore's symbols. A smaller statue--the fish-lion's baby--can also be found nearby. The baby statue offers a similar photo opportunity with a fraction of the crowds. After you've taken some photos, turn your gaze around to appreciate sweeping views of the waterfront. Put Merlion Park on your schedule, and learn what else deserves a visit by using our Singapore itinerary planner.

  • Sangat menyenangkan melakukan city trip di Singapura dengan menggunakan transportasi publik menuju Merlion Park. Banyak penjual es potong dan enak.
  • I always wanted to pose in front of merlion view of marina sands was amazing building behind merlion were looking great
  • From individuals until many people at all times. Is the person erstwhile disappointed from the Bay sands, the landscape changed quite a bit. I think I can feel that this speaking of Singapore. If you're walking around the Conrad, the Pan Pacific.

  • The mythical merlion head of a lion and body of a fish.designed and crafted Lim Nang Seng, and has been standing sprouting water since 1972 on mouth of the Singapore River
  • Singapore's famous Merlion. A must see. Not so much the Merlion itself, but the view on the Marina Bay Sands and the CBD is pretty cool. Best is, come in the evening, to see the spectacular lightshow of the MBS.
  • Great stretch of road with lots of fnb. Prices are sky high though. Touristy. I wouldn't recommend eating here cos I'll head to more delicious places at lower prices. That said, come here for the view and the mandatory Merlion visit
  • Very good views. So many people go here for taking picture with Merlion. Some are offering service here for taking photos if you forgot to bring one.
  • A nice little park by the bay where tourists gather in large number to see the iconic Merlion. There are some small eateries in that area, a bit expensive though. And there is a free public toilet just beside the Toast Junction.
