Shopping Mall Shopping
Head to Marina Square for a hub of dining, shopping, and entertainment all under one roof. Housing four levels with over 200 stores, including retail giants John Lewis and Marks & Spencer, the shopping center has a good variety from fashion, to children, and lifestyle. If you’d like to sample some of the local and traditional seafood eateries here, then head to the wing dedicated to dining, opened by the center in 2013. For a break from hectic shopping, head to the piazza and garden on levels two and three for a picturesque view of scenic city skyline. • The shopping complex has lots of wonderful stores to either buy from or just to window shop. It is easy access from the Mandarin Oriental and you don't need to walk a long way to get into it.  more »
  • Nothing special, but I did find a nice boutique to by my wife a gift. Would have loved more personalized shops. This place spans many floors and blocks but it is air conditioned so that is good.  more »
  • This shopping centre is not a tourist destination but handy if you stay at 1 of the near by hotels. Hotels like Pan Pacific, Marina Mandarin And the Mandarin Oriental are all connected to this shoppin...  more »

  • A Memorable mall for me. Been a regular patron since young. I enjoyed the space between opposite shops. It has good mixed of shops. Check out their IT section.
  • Spacious. Mixed retail tenants. Not stereo type of retail tenant mix found in many shopping malls. Good number of F&B tenants.
  • weekend is not so crowded compared with the nearby suntec city. Nice place to go for shopping, eating. Location is next to Singapore river.
  • Marina Mandarin Hotel. Great customer service at this hotel. When I arrived, I checked in no problem but when I headed to my room, housekeeping were still cleaning it. After about 10 minutes and without a word of complaint, I was paid a visit by the duty manager who offered me a room upgrade and complimentary breakfast for the duration of my stay. The following day I received a note of apology and a free bowl of fruit from the general manager. I would certainly stay here again.
  • A mall that have changed through time. It has change into a modern food street with many types of cuisine available to choose. After dinner, Walk to esplande and enjoy the view of Singapore city and Marina bay sands.

Where to stay in Singapore

For leading chain hotels, head to the area around Orchard Road, considered the tourist center of Singapore due to its varied selection of rooms, good travel links, and tourist-focused businesses. At the eastern end of the road, you'll find more luxurious and expensive options, with hotels located in impressive colonial-era architecture. North and south of this main artery, backpacker hostels and budget hotels provide affordable rooms with basic facilities.
