Marina Square, Singapore

3.6
#23 of 139 in Shopping in Singapore
Head to Marina Square for a hub of dining, shopping, and entertainment all under one roof. Housing four levels with over 200 stores, including retail giants John Lewis and Marks & Spencer, the shopping center has a good variety from fashion, to children, and lifestyle. If you’d like to sample some of the local and traditional seafood eateries here, then head to the wing dedicated to dining, opened by the center in 2013. For a break from hectic shopping, head to the piazza and garden on levels two and three for a picturesque view of scenic city skyline. Make Marina Square a centerpiece of your Singapore vacation itinerary, and find what else is worth visiting using our Singapore trip itinerary planning tool .

  • This is an old shopping center that has been renovated nicely. Also interconnected to the surrounding hotels and convention center. Nice place to walk around. There is a Japanese specialty shop in mall with luv seafood.
  • It's very spacious shopping centre and well connected to hotels adjacent to it. The toilets are clean. It also features specialty stores such as Japan mid town mart and Korea Shine and rare fast food restaurants such as Carls Junior. You can find lots of other restaurants and amenities. All rounded.
  • Nice shopping center. Food court has one of the best view and Saba fish dish in Singapore. Hershel store at level 1 is a must go.
  • Nice shopping mall situated in the area which I liked most in Singapore. Been visiting this mall since it opened more than 20 years ago and seen its transformation since then. Used to have Metro as it's anchor tenant but changed to John Little and now a section is catered to computer stuff since the closure of Funan Centre for renovation.
  • An aged mall that has seen better days. But they have renovated with new restaurant, shops & layout. enjoy

Where to stay in Singapore

For leading chain hotels, head to the area around Orchard Road, considered the tourist center of Singapore due to its varied selection of rooms, good travel links, and tourist-focused businesses. At the eastern end of the road, you'll find more luxurious and expensive options, with hotels located in impressive colonial-era architecture. North and south of this main artery, backpacker hostels and budget hotels provide affordable rooms with basic facilities.
