#3 of 17 in Nature in Singapore
Just a short trip from the city center lies the serenity of MacRitchie Reservoir, part of Singapore’s water system that captures rain water to help supply the island’s growing population. Trails surround the park, which has an upgraded visitor center featuring a café, restrooms, and information station. The best views are from the TreeTop Walk, a 250 m (820 ft) suspension bridge across the rainforest canopy, which can be accessed along the 7 km (4 mi) Venus Loop. Wear hiking shoes and bring water. • Great nature view. Approximately 11 km walk, tree trail, lake, best for walk and jogging
  • So, this is one of the nature reserves in Singapore. Perfect for trail running. There small trail for you to explore and some of them are long ones closing to 13km. the famous treetop walk is also located here. The walk to the treetop walk is a bit inclined and long so please be careful if you have any knew problems. You will find a lot of families hiking around the park on weekends.

MacRitchie Reservoir Park is a good starting point for the 20km network of boardwalks and trails of varying difficulties and distances that take visitors through the forest around the reservoir. It is worth trekking to the Tree Top Walk, a 250m-long suspension bridge running between the two highest points in MacRitchie where visitors can enjoy thrilling views of the forest canopy. Visitors are advised to hike towards the bridge by 4.45pm from the Ranger Station as the gate closes at 5pm. Water sports enthusiasts can choose to rent canoes and kayaks instead.
