We got the heads up of this plaza as a bargain mall on the high end Orchard Rd and thought that we would check it out. What we found was a tired old centre. Each shop that we passed had workers who we...  more »

Orchard Road lined with Western brands in a particularly conspicuous Lucky Plaza. It is a very strong Mall, lined up six floors above ground small store crammed from basement floor with ethnic colors (Southeast Asia). What is shop, souvenir shop, restaurant, grocery shop, bags, tailors, changer, massage, cell phone accessories, pub and the building. Staff people ally. Exchange in the orchard in Lucky Plaza. Exchange good rate is negotiable, underground money changer. Airlines crew orders, carry bag engraved name tag also could make in the subsurface engraving store. It's crew can make even 1 $ 10-. Lined Southeast Asian cuisine at the back of the basement food court, one $ 5 back and forth with full stomach. Beer, too. Customers are all Filipino. You can buy cheap souvenirs for the pork, such as sweets or key ring. Underground massage parlor staff massage body carefully. Returns a massage the next day without the content. Don't bother going into the visit, come closer to take a look is good enough.

People to the brim and I'm lost there was lively, but many shops, good where it enters. 2f Japanese ho souvenirs and gift in the 5 or 3 a 10 S $ I found a selection of small shops. It is pretty cheap if you go to the orchard, variety and so come try. And also exchange there is quite a few, so I'm not cash if I change also good?.

Lucky plaza is good for budget customers. Very economical food, clothes, and other house hold things. Good for Job seekers. Lots of good and genuine employment agencies here for skilled and unskilled people. For ladies, it's a hub. Lots of beauty and hair treatment shops in economical rates. You will also see many currency exchange offices.

Everything here is the best price in town... That's what I'm told. But some true some is not so true l. So come here to do your homework is a good start. Just don't bring any money so you won't succumb to any pressure sales

Lucky Plaza is a mega shopping centre on Orchard Road in Singapore. Quite the contrast from the high end retailers on Orchard but it fits right in. Popular with locals and tourists alike. It has a wide range of shops selling electronics, shoes and sports goods. There is a food court in the basement that sells cheap local fare. There are other quite bite restaurants in the building, such as McDonald's, Pizza Hut and such. Loads of tailors and bespoke designers are there to craft the perfect suit or gown. There is Medical Floor on the 5th Floor and Has Sleep Clinics and centres. Loads of paid parking.

on weekdays: not crowded. On public holidays or Sundays: it become Little Indonesia or Little Phili. It is really crowded on Sundays. This mall is famous for cheap chocolate (one of the cheapest shop is there - you have to find it ;-) and also clothes and shoes and souvenir: prices are low. In the past this mall was famous for electronic - therefore until now there are some shops selling electronics. Price is okay - but there are other places in SIN where the price is lower.

Wonderful environment that caters to everyone not just the trendy shoppers that frequent the high end malls that surround it. An amazing food court that is authentic as you will find anywhere in the city.

Where to stay in Singapore

For leading chain hotels, head to the area around Orchard Road, considered the tourist center of Singapore due to its varied selection of rooms, good travel links, and tourist-focused businesses. At the eastern end of the road, you'll find more luxurious and expensive options, with hotels located in impressive colonial-era architecture. North and south of this main artery, backpacker hostels and budget hotels provide affordable rooms with basic facilities.
