1.8/5 based on 400+ reviews on the web
Lucky Plaza represents one of the country's most popular shopping malls and offers everything from luxury goods to quality restaurants and salon services. This shopping center was built in 1981 by Far East Organization to resemble a modern bazaar in the center of Singapore's tourist district, Orchard Road. Stop in to browse through clothing and accessories, play with cosmetics, grab a drink at a bar, or sit down for a meal. The mall also features international chain stores and fast-food eateries. • We've sort of expected Lucky Plaza to be crowded - being the place to be known as a popular destination for cheap souvenir hunting - but wow this place surely is a crowded place most especially on a S...  read more »
  • Things are cheap. Hotel in mileage for TOBLERONE chocolates are $ 9 and you get six was shopping. If you ask quality clothes are cheaper here and the souvenirs for keychains and t-shirts. My friend said was good rating of the sisters here. Handy to shopping.

  • It is located in beautiful Takashimaya Department store across the street from the old building. Contains many small shops. Include currency exchange, but nowhere was the same redemption rate.

  • Lucky Plaza is the place where you can find products and services that are catered for the Overseas Filipino Workers in Singapore. Here, you can also remit money to your loved once in the Philippines or any parts of the world. As for my experience, money changers give good rates and you can easily negotiate them depending on the amount you want to exchange. It's located in the heart of Orchard Road and you can easily walk to neighbouring malls like ION Orchard, Far East Plaza, Tangs Plaza, Paragon, Takashimaya, WISMA, and other shopping centres.
  • crappy mall and dirty. the only plus point is the GREAT chicken rice store at level 2. Update: they have a great ayam penyat store on the top floor only open during lunchtime. Not sure the actual hours though. For 2 great food stores in this mall, I give it an additional star.
  • If i go orchard, usually I will visit the rabbit sharkfin restaurant located at lv 2., near to the escalator. For a set of $5.90, u cld hv a steam chicken rice, with small abalone and soup or sharkfin soup etc..... Free flow of tea. Oh ya, they have a few set of menu to choose from. Try their scallop chilli.
  • Trying my favorite once more! Sinigang na bangus and binangoonan
  • A Singapore landmark shopping experience. Been going there since early '90s. Anything electronic or perfume for ladies and much more. Not many tailors left there but they keep your measurements and will courier to you anywhere in the world. Love the place. Surrounded by top shopping malls and brands on both sides of Orchard. The MRT underground is best means of getting to and from. Highly recommended if you've not tried it yet.
