Lucky Plaza represents one of the country's most popular shopping malls and offers everything from luxury goods to quality restaurants and salon services. This shopping center was built in 1981 by Far East Organization to resemble a modern bazaar in the center of Singapore's tourist district, Orchard Road. Stop in to browse through clothing and accessories, play with cosmetics, grab a drink at a bar, or sit down for a meal. The mall also features international chain stores and fast-food eateries. • Orchard Road is mostly expensive designer shops and huge malls full of equally expensive shops. Lucky Plaza is neither of these! It is a somewhat downbeat mall full of shops selling tourist tat (key r...  more »
  • Stopped with the introduction of the staff of the hotel to find souvenirs. Facing Orchard Road is in place, is a very good place. Things I think I stopped by the grocery store on the 4th floor, but no, just glance. Anyway many things crammed with are side by side. It is fun just to look at.

  • Lucky Plaza is the place where you can find products and services that are catered for the Overseas Filipino Workers in Singapore. Here, you can also remit money to your loved once in the Philippines or any parts of the world. As for my experience, money changers give good rates and you can easily negotiate them depending on the amount you want to exchange. It's located in the heart of Orchard Road and you can easily walk to neighbouring malls like ION Orchard, Far East Plaza, Tangs Plaza, Paragon, Takashimaya, WISMA, and other shopping centres.
  • Feels uncomfortable shopping here, prices are relatively low for orchard standard, but you can have the same item with much cheaper price at bugis or chinatown or little india
  • crappy mall and dirty. the only plus point is the GREAT chicken rice store at level 2. Update: they have a great ayam penyat store on the top floor only open during lunchtime. Not sure the actual hours though. For 2 great food stores in this mall, I give it an additional star.
  • An old mall in the heart of all the gltiz and glamour of orchard. For the budget travellers
  • It's a Filipino mall in the middle of Orchard which attracts a lot of Filipino crowd. Most stores are Filipino and there are a lot of remittance center. Mall is quite old but being a Filipino, I cannot say I dislike it, its just that it has a lot of room to improve. If you crave for Filipino snacks like Turon, banana cue, biko and suman, you can get those from here.
