Know India little made us feel that we were in a bit of india. The flowers, which pay homage to their gods, typical meals and the jewelry of gold where women are collecting gold for the day tomorrow to have money. The more gold best is their quality of life

Good place like street market if you want find some cheapest on Singapore Indian items, food, clothes... It's cheap and very old area. Exactly different from some next areas in Singapore. Definitely different.

A lot of rush. Especially towards the evening. Though this place has some great ethnic stores for spices, jewellery and clothing. Earlier in the day would be a good time to visit.

Must go place to experience Indian culture in Singapore. Also you get to taste different varieties of Indian cuisines in numerous Indian restaurants there and get Indian ingredients and other stuff in small shops and Mustafa super market. The small shops opposite to Mustafa sells some good souvenirs at reasonable prices.

....we had all the time to wonder around in beautiful, very clean Singapore(their culture don;t even allow one to eat bubble gum! wow! wow!) We visited Chinatown on the other side of the city and just had to get to this side of the city so that we can testify that we have witnessed both cultures! We were very much impressed by all the small food stalls selling all types of goodii's but what attracted us most was the overwhelming smell of the Indian spices and the foods cooking all around us! We stopped at one stall and had lamb biryani Mmmmmmmmm, served here also just as in India on a big banana leaf! Wow! way too much food for one man to eat! But Insidious-lii delicious!.....a memorable occasion with a photo to look back at!!!....A must visit when in Singapore!.................

Where to stay in Singapore

For leading chain hotels, head to the area around Orchard Road, considered the tourist center of Singapore due to its varied selection of rooms, good travel links, and tourist-focused businesses. At the eastern end of the road, you'll find more luxurious and expensive options, with hotels located in impressive colonial-era architecture. North and south of this main artery, backpacker hostels and budget hotels provide affordable rooms with basic facilities.
